Ingredients
Cooking Instructions
-
Mix milk + yeast + all-purpose flour + sugar + vegetable oil in order and knead it into a three-light dough.
Then mix the desired natural fruit and vegetable powder to knead the shape. -
Let's start with Santa Claus, the body - 50 grams of red dough, the exhaust is rounded and pushed into the shape shown in the picture, oval, smaller at the top and wider at the bottom.
-
Head - complexion dough 22 grams, exhaust rounded. (Very little, very small amount of gardenia red or red chrysanthemum = skin tone)
-
Sleeve - 2 grams of red dough on one side, so a total of 4 grams are needed, kneaded into a long drop shape. Palm-complexion dough is 0.5 grams on one side, so a total of 1 gram is needed. Friends who can't weigh 0.5 grams can weigh 1 gram out and cut it in half. Then apply a thin layer of milk to stick on.
-
Hat - 10 grams of red dough exhaust round, roll flat. Cut off one side with a cutting panel. (pictured)
-
Apply a thin layer of milk to the first third of the head and slowly lay out the hat (pictured). Then the edge of the hat - 2 grams of white dough, knead into strips and roll it out, arrange the seat (as pictured) and then collect or cut off the rest.
-
Small hairballs of hat - 1 gram of white dough, vented to round up, and then use a needle or toothpick to insert a feeling like a small hairball.
-
Beard - 10 grams of white dough, vented to round and roll out. Cut off one side (pictured).
-
For the lower third of the face, apply a thin layer of milk to the beard, and carefully press out the marks of the beard with a cutting panel. Then the "eight" beard - 1 gram on one side of the white dough, so a total of 2 grams is needed. Remember to stick your beard up with your tail up.
-
Nose - 0.5 grams of red dough, exhaust rounded.
-
Clothing part - white dough kneaded into strips and rolled flat. Place it as shown in the picture, first put the straight one and then put the horizontal one.
-
Pants - 2 grams on one side of the red dough, so a total of 4 grams is needed. The exhaust is rounded, slightly pressed into a square, and then placed as pictured.
-
In addition to the white part of the pants, there are also sleeves that I forgot to shoot.
-
Plus smiling eyes, laughing mouth, and eyebrows. Da Chang ~ The super cute Santa Claus is born
-
There is also a black hoop part of the belt. Black dough pull string. Shoes - 1 gram on one side of the black dough, so a total of 2 grams is needed. Knead the round and put it on and press it flat.
-
Let's start making Christmas trees~ Christmas trees are very, very simple~ I think children can complete it, only this set of molds is needed. You can buy it in a treasure or bakery (search for star-shaped biscuit molds). I only used four sizes for my Christmas tree, and we identified the sizes by 123456, 1 the smallest and 6 the largest. I only need to make a Christmas tree that is 1234 size. Let's have fun with the kids
-
Roll out the green dough to a thickness of 3mm, sprinkle with hand powder, and press out the mold into shape. Remember to press hard to make sure it breaks so that it will be clean and neat. There won't be a lot of burrs on the edge of the stars.
-
Remember to press the tip of each of the five corners of the star with your finger, and then (pictured) press each inward with the cutting panel. In this way, the steamed stars will be beautiful.
-
Don't forget to prepare the stars of the yellow dough either. This is an important decoration of the Christmas tree~~~ This is the smallest star mold.
-
Isn't it neat and beautiful â¤, and you can start steaming after waiting for the fermentation to finish. This Christmas tree can be completed in half an hour, so the fermentation time will be longer.
-
Steamed and cooled, you can assemble ~ 3 green stars (4), 2 (3), 2 (2), 1 (1), one yellow (1). It can be assembled with lollipop sticks or bamboo skewers, as shown in the picture. Then the colorful sugar bead bakery can be purchased, and it can't stick to the steamed buns when sprinkled directly, so I put them one by one with tongs. (Warm reminder: be careful with bamboo skewers â ï¸ for children)
-
I am a one-time fermentation, knead the dough and shape it directly, and put it in the steamer on the cold water pot to ferment after the shape is done, usually the fermentation time of the white steamed buns without modeling is 30-40 minutes, because we are relatively hot in Malaysia, so I am fermented on cold water~ The way I observe whether the fermentation is completed is to use the touch, and when the time comes, it feels like the piece of meat under the palm and thumb (pictured) when it is relaxed, if it doesn't feel like it, wait another five minutes and then observe it. (In short, if you take a long time to shape, the less time you will take to ferment.) The styling time is short, and the fermentation time is relatively long.
My gas stove is relatively hot, so I steam it over medium-low heat for 18 minutes, and then open the lid after turning off the heat for 5 minutes. (My heat is for reference only, you have to take care of your own fire, don't be too big and too rolling.) Remember
to take good notes every time you finish it, so that you will improve âï¸ more next time
